Privacy policy

We collect what we need to make your videos and run your account. We use your photos only to make the videos you ask for, we never show them to other users, and we do not sell your personal information. Last updated 7 October 2026.

This policy explains what Applax Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us") collects when you use AI Dance: the website at aidanceapp.com (also open at danceaiapp.com) and the "AI Dance Video - Baby Dancing" apps for iPhone and Android. It also explains how we use that information and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

  • Photos you upload. The photo you add to make a video, and the video we make from it.
  • Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, plus a user ID. If you use the website without signing in, we create a guest account with a random ID so your credits and videos are kept for you.
  • Purchases. Our payment provider Stripe processes payments on the website. We receive the product, the amount, the payment status and, if you give it, your email address. We never receive or store your full card number. In the apps, Apple and Google process payments.
  • Usage and device data. Pages you open, the template you pick, buttons you tap, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address, collected with Google Analytics for Firebase.
  • Messages. What you send us when you contact support.

2. How we use it

  • To make the videos you ask for and show them to you in My videos.
  • To run your account, your credits and your purchases, and to give credits back when a video fails.
  • To keep the service safe and enforce our terms, for example to stop abuse or prohibited content.
  • To understand how the website and the apps are used, and to improve them.
  • To answer your messages.

We use your photos only to make your videos. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not sell them.

3. Your photos and videos

  • You confirm that you own each photo you upload or have permission to use it, including the permission of the people in it, or of a parent or guardian for a child.
  • To make a video, your photo is stored in our cloud storage (Google Firebase) and sent to the AI video providers that run the dance models. They process it only to make your video.
  • We do not create or keep face prints or other biometric identifiers from your photos.
  • We never show your photos or videos to other users, and we never use them on our website, in ads or as examples. The examples on our website are made with AI-made people and pets.
  • Your photos and videos stay in your account so you can download them again. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see section 7).

4. Who we share data with

  • Service providers that run the service for us: Google Firebase and Google Cloud (hosting, sign-in, storage, database and analytics), Stripe (payments) and the AI video providers that render your video. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged, under the terms of this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

5. Cookies and local storage

The website uses cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, to remember your guest session and your choices, and for analytics. Stripe sets its own cookies during payment to prevent fraud. You can clear them in your browser at any time; you will then be signed out.

6. How long we keep data

  • Photos and videos: while your account exists, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Account data: until you delete your account or ask us to.
  • Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Analytics: for a limited period, mostly in aggregated form.
  • Support messages: as long as we need them to help you.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent. To use any of these rights, or to delete your photos, videos or account, write to support@danceaiapp.com. We answer as soon as we can and within the time the law sets.

8. Children

AI Dance is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Parents and guardians may upload photos of their own children to make videos and are responsible for that choice. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and the security tools of our cloud providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong Google account and keep your devices safe.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process your data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers are covered by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top and, for important changes, we tell you on the website or in the app.
