"SaWaDiKa" is a song by LISA, the Thai member of BLACKPINK, named after the Thai greeting "sawatdee ka". Its video came out on September 3, 2026 and passed 100 million YouTube views in about two days. LISA won Best Pop at the MTV VMAs on September 27 and sang it live for the first time, and on October 8 the video passed 200 million views, as Gulf News reported. The dance took off on TikTok on release day. Dance creators posted the chorus within hours: @nadianimitt's take of September 4 passed 4 million views, and @le_lis_lacourt's "SaWaDiKa part 2" two days later passed 3 million. Slowed and mirrored tutorials followed, then AI templates in October. The clip on this page is the @nadianimitt video, a solo dance cover filmed in a plain room. It is a fan cover, not LISA's own performance. On AI Dance, the template copies the moves onto your own photo: your face, clothes and background stay, and your body follows the chorus beat by beat. ### The moves A strong, grounded chorus: feet wide and knees bent, the arms frame the head and cross in front of the face, the hips sway from side to side, then a low lunge with one arm sweeping out, a quick kick and a sharp turn of the shoulders, finishing in a tall pose. ## How to make the SaWaDiKa video 1. **Add your photo.** Upload one clear photo of you or a friend, facing the camera, as much of the body in the frame as you can. 2. **Tap Make my video.** The SaWaDiKa dance costs 1 credit. The AI copies the moves onto your photo while you wait, about a few minutes. 3. **Download and post.** You get a 11 second 9:16 MP4. Post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts and add the sound inside the app. ## Best photo for SaWaDiKa - Use a full-body photo, standing, facing the camera, with your feet in the frame. - Leave space at both sides: the dance uses a wide stance and a low lunge. - Baggy trousers and a fitted top look closest to the original cover. - A plain room with a clear floor works well, like the original clip. - One person per photo. The AI animates the biggest person in the frame. Avoid: - Group photos, or a second person cut off at the edge - Faces turned away, covered or in deep shadow - Blurry or very dark photos - Heavy filters, stickers or text on the photo ## Post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts - Your video comes without music. Add "SaWaDiKa" by LISA in TikTok or Reels and start on the chorus. - Post it as part 1 and film a friend's version as part 2. - Use the trend tags people search for: #sawadika and #lisa. - Name the dance in your caption, so people searching for it find your video. Caption idea: Sawatdee ka. Hashtags: #sawadika #lisa #dancetrend #aidance ## SaWaDiKa trend timeline - 2026-09-03: LISA releases "SaWaDiKa"; the video passes 100 million YouTube views in about two days.
