The moves come from a real battle round. The Belgian hip-hop freestyler Doyah, from Louvain-la-Neuve, danced to "Gang Gang Gangland" by the West Coast rapper Chef Boy (released July 11, 2025, with YG and Mozzy) in a battle, and a clip of the round with the song name on screen was reposted on September 2, 2026. On September 23, 2026 an AI edit put a cartoon-like character in his place and passed 43 million views, which made "gang gang dance" a search term of its own. Battle channels then posted the full rounds: the Line Up 2026 hip hop semi final, Doyah vs Nema, passed 2.8 million views on October 6. The clip on this page is from that semi final round, posted by @genjutsu.dance, with Doyah dancing alone on the stage and the audience seated behind him. The score graphics at the top of the original video are cropped out. On AI Dance, the template copies the moves onto your own photo: your face, clothes and background stay, and your body follows the freestyle beat by beat. ### The moves A slow, confident battle freestyle: a groove with the arms swinging loose, a deep lean with one leg out, a lean back looking up at the lights, then standing tall with one hand on the hip and the other at the chin, a point to the crowd and a small hand wave to close the phrase. ## How to make the Gang Gang video 1. **Add your photo.** Upload one clear photo of you or a friend, facing the camera, as much of the body in the frame as you can. 2. **Tap Make my video.** The Gang Gang dance costs 1 credit.
